There will be a dinim test on the first Pesach packet this Monday. The children will get a review/guideline sheet on what to focus tomorrow and we will have a short review in class.

We have started learning the dinim now of the seder and the children received their new haggadah today that we will use to learn and they can express themselves in it through all kinds of activities. When it is done, they will bring it home for Pesach and use to enhance your seders.

Dinim Test on Purim: Monday, March 9th : the children have 2 pages which sum up the laws they need to know for the test. We have reviewed a lot. There will also be some questions (general ones) about the story =megilla. We have also reviewed this.

Chumash Test: on perek 25 pesukim 19-28 on Thursday, Mar. 12th
The children have 2 review sheets on the vocabulary they need to know for this test. In addition they need to know the story and be able to answer comprehension questions. We always review in class.

It would be great for the children to participate in the important mitzvah of "matanot L'evyonim" (gifts to the poor) . Please send in 'tzdekah' money for this mitzvah between now and Tuesday. We will put it in the Od Yosef Chai tzedakah box. Thank you!

H.W. to review pesukim 1-11 in Navi perek vav (6). You don't have to understand every single word, but should be able to follow the story as we reviewed today in class. You can try to read a bit further, if you want. We will be doing Navi tomorrow, as well as Chumash.

In Chumash: we will be reviewing the worksheet I last gave out on different words from the perek.

My Ivrit group: Remember we will be having a test on the verbs on p.5 and p.6 from your workbook on Monday!! so start to review and know them. We will practice more in class.

In Chumash: read pesukim 19-29

In Dinim: You need to prepare an illustration w/ explanation ( at least 3 sentences) in Ivrit on 2 of the mitzvoth of Purim. If you did one in class, you need to do only one more at home, to make a Total of 2 mitzvoth , on the special white paper I gave out in class.

THERE WILL BE A DINIM TEST ON PURIM NEXT MONDAY, MAR. 9TH, B'H. We are still learning and reviewing some of the mitzvoth and will continue till Friday. I will make it clear to the children which sheets they need to review for the test.
