H.W. in Chumash: to read pesukim 1 -2 in perek 23 in Parashat Chayei Sarah in your Chumshonim. You should do "kebaba" while practicing your reading. Don't forget to get a compliment from your Listener on your Kebaba sheet.
We have not yet explained these pesukim so only reading is fine. We did , however, learn some of the words in these pesukim today in a preactivity, so you might want to give it a try.

Dear Parents: All children in grade 3 need a Planner in which to write their homework. Please make sure your child has one as soon as possible. Thank you! (The planners can be purchased from the front desk.)

grade 5/ monday aug. 31st h.w. and password

H.W. in Chumash is to read the first seven pesukim of perek aleph in Sefer Shmot, Parashat Shmot. You should do "kebaba" along with the reading. Use the "dictionary" list of words you copied into your binders today to help you try to understand some of these pesukim. Remember to get a compliment for your reading and/or understanding on your "kebaba " sheet.

Tomorrow we will be starting Navi. You need the blue cover for your Navis.

Boys remember that you have gym tomorrow morning , girls have computers.

Secret password: Shoftim (do you know who they were??) Remember not to tell anyone the password. You are only supposed to know it IF you checked it on this blog.
