grade 3/ feb. 24th upcoming Purim test!

Purim test next Wed. We are still learning about Purim, but review of what we do in class is recommended for each night. Also for h.w. please write at least 2 riddles. If you did so in class, you must add at least one more.

Don't forget to come with a costume for Friday! And to bring money for the Carnival tickets by Thursday.

grade 5/ feb. 24 upcoming Chumash test!! and Dinim test!!

Chumash: Do questions 5-10 on the new vocab. sheet for perek heh.

Chumash test on perek heh next Thursday, B"H. Start reviewing, don't wait till the last minute.

Dinim test on Purim: this coming Tuesday, B"H. We still have one more page to go....., but you can review a bit each night!

Kebaba: You should be doing kebaba at least twice a week. Why not do it while you do your Chumash h.w.??? Just reread pesukim and explain them while you do your h.w. Get someone to listen. Kol Hakavod to Shayna who just completed stage 9, yes, I said stage NINE!! WOW!

Navi: Just review questions 1-9 in packet , ( we have answered them ), and relevant pesukim in the perek so you remember the material we are learning about Gideon Ben Yoash. This is for Thursday.

Whenever you have a chance , read over your part for the siyum.

For the mishna quiz this wed.: you must know the first 5 lines by heart, but of course, if you know the whole thing , you will get bonus points! Also make sure you understand everything. Use the review sheet to help you.

Chumash: We will be finishing perek heh and Parashat Shmot this week: Yeah! Chazak Chazak! So there will be a test in the near future, sometime next week TBA soon. Start reviewing already, don't leave for the last moment. Start by rereading the pesukim.

Purim: Please review the sheets we have done. We have some more and I will schedule a test also next week, B"H.

And keep rereading your part for the play.

There will be a quiz on Mishna beth this coming Wed. B"H. You must know the first 5 lines of the MIshna by heart. If you know the whole mishna , you will get bonus points!!

Tomorrow we will have a special "oneg" Shabbat with Rabbi Elbaz in honor of Chodesh Adar!!

Now that we finished the read through of the play, please keep reviewing your part each day. I will expect you to start knowing by heart by the end of next week!

H.W. in Chumash (due Monday): Finish up both worksheets on pesukim 1-20 in perek heh. I will be scheduling a Chumash test soon, so keep reviewing and don't leave for the last minute.

Chumash: PLease reread and try to explain pesukim 50-60. Your child should be able to understand these pesukim almost completely by now.

We have also started learning about Purim, the story and the dinim (laws) and will be busy with this for the next several lessons.
