There will be a Mishna quiz on the info in pages 34-39 including the terms we have learned, (don't worry they will be on the review sheets so you know which to study) next Tuesday Mar. 1st!

Reminder: There is a Chumash test this Thursday on perek gimel from pasuk 11 till end of perek and Perek daled from pasuk aleph till 18, review packet and vocab. sheet that was given and worked on today in class! We will have a short review tomorrow, so prepare any questions you may have.

grade 3/ feb. 17th Upcoming Chumash test

Chumash: I was so pleased to see that some students learned their "parts" by heart from the psukim we are learning (49-60). We are dramatizing these psukim and yesterday I gave each child part of the dialogue to act out. I have challenged them to learn their parts by heart and if they all do, we can put on a short skit at our Shabbat party next week. Let's see if they take up the challenge.

HW : review these psukim and read the old Rashi (pasuk 52) and new one that we learned today, (pasuk 56). Ask your child to explain them to you. I am thinking of a test on all these psukim 49-60 next week Thursday, B"H. It will also include the RAshi's , but we will have a review sheet so you will know exactly what to stress. We will begin the review sheet next week (Tues. ) .

grade 5/ hw and reminders feb. 16th

IN Mishna: Please review by reading parts 1 and 2 of the wandering of the Sanhedrin on p. 34 in your workbook. Try to remember the important facts. Then cut out and glue what we did in class , only the first two periods ='tekufot' of the Sanhedrin on p. 36. Please cut out all the rest and put in an envelope or clip to have ready for class on Friday. We will continue our study of the wandering of the Sanhedrin.

Reminder: Chumash test next Wed. on perek gimel psukim 11-22 and perek daled psukim 1-18 including the Rashi's we've learned. Don't leave for the last minute, please study each night !

Navi: (for Monday) Reminder: Navi test on Monday plus you need to complete the 6 illustrations of the phrases you chose on the vocab. worksheet for Monday . They can be worth up to 10 points on your test if you put a lot of effort (and color!) into your drawings. Otherwise they are 1 point each.
Also you must complete the sum up page (very last page of the packet) . This must be handed in on Monday or you cannot take the test.
Mishna: reminder Quiz on Mishna daled this coming Tuesday. PLease know the mishna by heart for tomorrow, (and certainly by the quiz!!)

grade 5/ Feb. 3rd Upcoming test!!

Navi test on perek daled will be (tentatively) next Thursday, Feb. 10th, at least that is the plan right now and hopefully we won't have to change it. We are near completing the perek and will finish it next Monday, but certainly the parts we have learned can be reviewed already.

Tomorrow we will start mishna daled, B"H, and learn about the parsha.
