5th grade update : dec. 16th

Shalom Fifth Grade Parents,

This update comes instead of my usual newsletter. It was all about Chanuka last week in Kita Heh. Bravo to our wonderful fifth grade actors and actresses who gave such an amazing performance in their Chanuka play! Special thank you to Rabbi Tzion Elbaz who worked with us at all our rehearsals and to Mrs. Kate Willis for the beautiful costumes. Also thank you to Mrs. Sara Beth Kahn for the musical accompaniment. We hope you were able to be there and that you enjoyed the play.

This week we will have 2 tests: On Tuesday a test on the Chanuka packet.

On Thursday: a test in Navi on perek gimel in Sefer Shoftim : a study guide will go home tomorrow and it will help the students know what to focus on . They should review the packet we learned on perek gimel.

We will also learn new psukim this week in Chumash and complete perek 42. The Chumash test will have to be after winter break.
